From our farm in Fiddington Tewkesbury the Hemming family has developed a nack for producing equestrian products derived from their own experiences within a lifetime of the trade.

From Equestrian Centre, Abbey Dressage to Leisure Ride Advanced Equine Footing it's a family affaire.

At leisure ride we don't only make our own surfaces we ride on them too. Our manufacturing facility at Tewkesbury is also the home of our Equestrian Centre, Abbey Dressage.

Here you can view a range of our surfaces that are in daily use for training and competitions. Bring your horse and ride on it before you buy it and talk to people who understand you and your horses needs.

Ross Hemming

Ross has spent his life around horses and excavators. Having worked for the family business for 15 years he decided to combine knowledge of the equestrian centre and civil construction business to create Leisure Ride Advanced Equine Footing. His pursuit for the ultimate footing solution has lead to the extensive range of fibre additives, premixed surface's and maintenance equipment available from Leisure Ride today. As he continues to develop new ideas and new products, you can be sure that the future for synthetic equine surfaces is in quality, safe, uncompromised footing for both horse and rider.

Glenys Hemming

Has worked with horses all her life, teaching all ages the art of dressage, and competes at both regional and national level herself. For the past 17 years Glenys has run Abbey Dressage competition and training facility in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire a dedicated Dressage centre that has produced several champion horses and riders over the years, herself included. With over 40 years experience in the equine industry Glenys knows what horses and riders require from an equine surface, with her help and the Abbey Dressage team we have put the Leisure Ride footings through rigorous trials to ensure performance life and quality of ride consistency.

Phil Hemming

Owns and runs Agriservices Ltd, civil construction and agricultural machinery sales and hire. For more than 35 years the company has been involved with many large scale construction projects nationwide, from large high pressure gas and water pipeline installations, to road and motorway schemes. Now the knowledge gained is practised in our base construction methods to guarantee quality and longevity of use.

Bryn Hemming

Has developed 4x4 competition vehicles and specialist suspension and axel systems for over 15 years and is a trained diesel engineer. Now his business resides along with Leisure Ride, Agriservices and Abbey Dressage at the family farm in Tewkesbury. With a wealth of knowledge Bryn undertakes Mot and servicing work on all makes of 4 x 4 vehicles Lorries and trailers. From full re sprays to simple touch ups his workshop facility can offer all types of solutions to keep you on the road.
