Buying a riding surface can be a daunting task and it’s easy to compare surfaces solely based on price – however it’s important to consider the components that will go into your surface – surfaces similar in price may not have the same quality of components and it’s important to consider factors such as longevity, maintenance requirement and ride-feel. A surface made from poor components may look good when it’s new – how will it perform in 2, 5 or 10 years?
